Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician

Breslau Animal Hospital is looking to hire a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team.  We are a full-service hospital providing medicine, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, digital radiographs including dental radiographs, laser therapy and house calls. We have clinicians that practice both Western and Eastern Medicine and are proud to be one of the few practices in the area offering Eastern Medicine Services. We are also one of only 3 practices in Canada that has a clinician Certified in Essential Oils for animal care. We strongly believe in pain control and doing all we can to help those fur babies live their best lives!

At BAH, we take Fear Free to the next level. Our team is passionate and dedicated to compassionate, transformative care. Our approach to Fear Free is pushing the profession to recognize that a kind, slow approach for fearful patients fundamentally changes their experience in clinic, and we are having incredible success with this approach. We are involved with Conestoga’s veterinary technician program and often mentor volunteers and students. Want to work where patients drag their owners in through the door and fearful patients start to gain confidence and acceptance with what we do? Then this is the place for you!

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician that is compassionate, team-oriented and dedicated to providing gentle, high-quality care to pets and the people who love them.  If you love anesthesia and surgery, medical monitoring, and client education.  If you are comfortable answering a phone, discussing estimates, doing pre-operative and post-operative appointments, giving injections and are passionate about being a technician, this may be the place for you.

Breslau Animal Hospital is always happy to take on Student Veterinarians for rotations or other learning opportunities. Please contact our Practice Manager Maddi or Dr. Duckworth if you are interested in a rotation with us. We are looking forward to meeting you!

The vets and techs at BAH love to teach! If you are interested in doing an external rotation with us, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out to our Practice Manager Maddi or Dr. Duckworth to set up a meet and greet to discuss your rotation so we can meet your education needs.

High School Co-Op Students

Every year we take on a few Co-Op students to help you get a taste of what veterinary medicine is and whether it is right for you. If you would like to do this with us, please have your supervising teacher reach out to us and we can set up a meet and greet interview to discuss your educational objectives.
